Candidate for South East Region
Born and raised in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Kerri Guy has spent her professional life working in the corporate world, most recently as a Business Analyst. She is a logical thinker, has the ability to communicate effectively with all that she comes in contact with, and is very approachable with a good sense of humour.
Kerri has a long history of community involvement; she has been a Consumer Representative for Breast Cancer Network Australia for over 15 years, and is a 16 year breast cancer survivor after being diagnosed at age 35. An active participant in her 20 & 17 year old sons’ interests, Kerri has volunteered over many years with the local scout group, junior football and cricket clubs.
Derryn Hinch’s Justice Party attracted Kerri through the policies on sentencing, bail and parole reform, together with domestic violence reform. She wants not only her teenage sons to be safe when they go out, but all Victorians to be safe, whether at home or out in the community.
Kerri pledges that as your representative she will work hard to ensure that laws are changed to make your community safer.
