Linda De Rango
Candidate for Eastern Metropolitan Region
With a leading position as part owner of De Rango Menswear, Linda De Rango took a leap of faith in 2018, standing as a Candidate for the Derryn Hinch’s Justice Party in the state election to be held in November.
Prior to founding De Rango Menswear with her husband, Linda worked as a Registered Nurse. She graduated from the Australian Catholic University, with a Bachelor of Nursing degree in 1993 and Linda later received a postgraduate certificate in Oncology Nursing. It was during Linda’s nursing career that she also served on a Hospital Policy Committee Board and a School Advisory Board.
Linda resides in Mitcham with her husband Adrian and two children. Apart from spending time with family, Linda enjoys the allure of cultural exhibitions and festivals, the native bushland, and the heritage and architecture of Mitcham.
A turning point in Linda’s life was when the Derryn Hinch’s Justice Party was formed. Linda was motivated and drawn into politics, seeing the importance of their policies and a need for changes in Victoria, changes that put victims above criminals.
A personal experience in dealing with the legal system and her strong commitment to keeping children safe lead her to apply to stand as a Candidate for the Derryn Hinch’s Justice Party in the next state election.
Linda has a strong determination and passion to keep children safe and to help families of bullying victims.
